Wayne D. Collins

Senior Counsel

Wayne Collins is a 24-year civil trial lawyer who represents companies and individuals in business disputes and serious personal injury matters.

Wayne is as an eighth generation Texan. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, and his family moved to Deer Park, Texas where Wayne attended high school. Many of Wayne’s family members have worked in the chemical plants and refineries in and around Beaumont and Deer Park. This background essentially “hard-wired” Wayne to be a champion for the underdog. A standout high school tennis player, upon graduation, Wayne continued his education at the University of Houston, where he studied political science. And Wayne earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1996.

After graduating from law school, Wayne began his career as a trial lawyer, representing clients in Federal and State courts throughout Texas and the United States. As a young trial lawyer, Wayne was fortunate to catch the attention of an outstanding Texas trial lawyer, a so-called “legal legend,” who took Wayne under his wing and mentored him for a number of years by acting as co-counsel on a number of major cases and by imparting the wisdom and techniques learned from decades of trying cases across the country. In due time, Wayne began racking up his own impressive record of favorable courtroom results. And because Wayne is committed to helping the underdog in need, many of Wayne’s largest and most rewarding victories involve David vs.Goliath type battles on behalf of individuals who were injured by large corporations.

Over the years, Wayne had tried cases involving commercial and business disputes, fraud, breach of contract, partnership disputes, estate, employment and labor law, whistleblower, non-compete, wrongful death, serious injury, environmental, toxic tort, maritime, and first party insurance litigation matters. In 2020, Wayne joined Meade & Neese as Senior Counsel where he continues his history of positive outcomes for the companies and individuals he represents.
